The opening round of the IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional found Whiteland beating East Central 52-23 and Franklin slipping past Shelbyville 37-32. The match-up for Friday Feb 2 will be Whiteland vs Columbus East at 6pm followed by Franklin vs Columbus North at 7:30pm.
